BMW 600 Restore

As of 2006-10-07, I am the proud owner of a 1958 BMW 600. This is a technical log of its restoration, transcribed from the notebook version of the same. This log is provided in the hopes that it will be useful (and, like the rest of XenoTrout.com, comes with no warranty) to myself and/or others who are restoring BMW 600s or other vehicles, or perhaps doing things not directly related. It is not meant to be entertaining. It is documentation intended to allow the recreation of the effective portions of my restoration and to serve as a reference and resource for finding or fabricating replacement parts for the BMW 600.
Some forms will have to be made by creating molds or using other methods which are not easy to convey electronically. I will be saving all such devices and making them available to other restoration projects within reason.
